Who wants to build a wooden terrace must choose very carefully the wood species and also the wood protection. Never sit wood panels above. It retains heat and promotes growth of microorganisms, destroying the wood.
Build an airly structure that can dry quickly and well. The wood must be on the floor: 30/40 cm is a good distance. Above structure can be coated sheet metal or foil. The distances must be also wide in order to prevent the leaves (moisture problem!).
