Successful show days at the CNR Expo have ended: more than 21,000 visitors, many of them from neighbouring countries were attracted to the city on the Bosporus by this year’s ZOW and Z-TEC. 487 exhibitors from 20 countries displayed their innovations, covering an area close to 40 thousand square meters (versus 25,000 in 2009).
"The success of the show demonstrates that ZOW perfectly meets the needs of the industry – time and location could not be better for the markets that we have attracted", Mr. Sinan Karahanoglu, Sales Director of SURVEY Fuarcılık Danışmanlık Ltd. Şti. states. With an increase of 30% compared with last year, the third edition of ZOW was the largest ZOW in Turkey to date. All well-known Turkish companies from the different furniture supply sectors, and as well as European companies with an international profile presented their latest product innovations at the fairground, presenting the variety of products needed to manufacture furniture.
The mood amongst exhibitors and visitors was overwhelmingly positive and all the signs from Istanbul are that the industry is picking up again. Most of the people invited to ZOW are decision makers within their company. This approach ensures that business deals can be transacted on the day.
The next ZOW will run at the usual time and place – from 15 to 18 September 2011 at CNR Expo Center Istanbul.
