The ministry of economical development Canada, Denis Lebel will participate in an European tour in France and in Italy, where he will meet specialists from wood industry.
Regarding the support given by Canadian government to forestry industry and to communities affected by the economical background, the minister takes into consideration also the possibilities of development for the wood industry in France and in Italy for the companies from Quebec.
“This tour comes to sustain the efforts of a big number of companies from Quebec and Canada, in their projects of business and investments development. Also, it is an opportunity of exploring new approach of development the regional economy”, has declared the minister.
“It is very important that forestry industry from Quebec can sell its products on new markets”, asserted the minister that reminds the fact that 50% of wood is exported to United States.
The tour represents also the occasion to talk about the challenges from the industry and the communities and new alternatives, like winning of biomass and new methods to build in wood.
