The second edition of National Meetings Forêt-Bois-Construction will take place at Congress Palace, Bordeaux, on 4th of November 2010 and it will consist in research labs, meetings with foresters, entrepreneurs from wood industry architects, craftsman, constructors, artists, etc. This way, all the specialists are invited to meet in order to exchange opinions, to prepare and determine the actions put into practice in order to develop and integrate wood in the constructions field.
The theme chosen for this year edition is called "Organization and performance in Wood Construction". The strengths of the theme is the progress of techniques and the know – how of this field, the efforts regarding the company’s organization, artisans or professional federations that constitutes a main stake for the development of the access of wood industry on constructions markets.
These national meetings have the sign of three major themes: forest (modernization of forestry exploitation to integrate the expectations of timber industry), wood (fabrication of wood products, problems regarding the conception of the building), constructions (to win parties of market trough an efficient coordination of people that work in wood constructions area).
