The opponents of the cedar’s inclusion in the Red Book affirm that the inclusion of the Korean cedar in the Red Book of Primorsky Krai will stop all activity from the timber industry. The cause of this consequence will be the imposition of administrative and penal responsibilities for any involuntary cedar’s damage during the forestry activities.
The opponents claim that the cedar’s inclusion in the Red Book of this region could “cripple” the foresty industry of all this land. This thing determine the opponents refuse to consult the afferent legislation or mislead the public opinion in a consciously way.
In the year of crisis 2009, from the Primorsky Krai was exported the biggest cedar’s quantity from the last 7 years.
