Japanese company JVC has launched headphones Hi-End class, made of birch wood. These are the first wooden headphones of this level in the world, even the use of wood in manufacture of JVC acoustic devices was practiced earlier.
Modern man is hardly surprised by gadgets with wooden body. However the use of such unusual material in the "completion" of electronic devices is quite infrequent.
HA-FX1000 Headphones are made by special technology, which is based on the musical characteristics of birch, as reported in the press release of the company. However wooden body ensures the existence of a natural acoustic sound and reverberation, and a wooden diaphragm provides characteristics similar to the characteristics of a musical instrument.
