After almost a year to lock the timber market, new reports show that this industry is going to change its situation in a very optimistic way. The first calls came from Macedonia and Turkey, announced the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce for Wood and Furniture.
Representatives of the “Ekoglasnost” political club have warned that near the town of Malko Turnovo started cutting of beech and oak to be exported to Turkey. Regional Directorate of Forestry explained that this cut is legal and there was no danger of poaching in the “Strandzha” Natural Park.
