The company IKEA is continuing the work on the investment project from Ishim area in the Tyumen region. This news was be announced by the Director of Forestry Department of the region, Andrey Medintsev.
As a result of two auctions, which took place in 2008, IKEA will rent two of the forest areas from Ishim zone. The company already have preparing the documents and drafts for development of forests, because of desire to start production of intermediate products for the furniture industry in 2009"- said Medintsev.
Medintsev added that the construction of factories for the production of intermediate products for the furniture industry and birch panels is under feasibility study from technical and economical point of view. "The company has the opportunity to choose some lands for building of factories in the Ishimsk region. Manufacturing operation requires conformation with the production standards of organic medium, thus IKEA is preparing very seriously the land," - he summed up.
