Mobexpert – furniture manufacturer - has begun the construction of a new logistic center, in Bucharest. This investment is estimated at 10 million euro.
The construction of the new logistic center is included in Moberxpert’s plans to optimize costs in the supply chain, so that the final prices of the products showcased in the stores could remain unchanged.
The new logistic centre will allow the purchase of large quantities of products, at advantageous prices and a quicker distribution.
„the construction of this center is one of the measures we have been planning since september. The aim is to protect the client from a potential rise of prices caused by either the financial crisis or by the negative evolution of the currency”, declared Dan Sucu, President of Mobexpert.
Company’s reprezentants estimate that the construction will be finished at the end of may 2009, and that the facility will become operational by july 2009.
Currently, Mobexpert owns two other logistic centres in Bucharest and Tg. Mures.
Established in 1993, the Mobexpert Group now has up to 2000 employees, 10 retail companies, 8 furniture factories, 6 import companies and 3 service companies.
